NPG Perfumers, Suppliers and Associates want to bring joy to those suffering from the “winter blues” by having a blogathon giveaway of products with uplifting scents.  Some who live in the Northern Hemisphere suffer from SAD - seasonal affective disorder.
SAD is a recognized disorder characterized by depression, among other symptoms.*(see below for details)  Light therapy is the most common treatment, and the Guild feels the need to share the knowledge that fragrance can also be uplifting and pull people out of depression.  The NPG wants to include fragrance therapy and our members will host a three-day blog event to reach out to those who suffer from SAD.
It's going to be a giveaway bonanza for the public, selfless and kindness from our members who wish to share their brightest, sunniest fragrant products with the public. Please note:

  3. What a complex and fascinating facial cleanser! I would love to hear about the St. John's Wort in the formula. I know it is used for depression by some herbalists.

    Thanks!

  4. Color me intrigued about a powdered cleanser. My skin is all wonky right now from getting off BC, so would be interested in trying anything that is good and natural to clear up my face.

TY for participating in this wonderful awareness week!

  5. My skin has always reacted badly to commercial cleansers, even the milder ones, so I would love to try a natural, gentle cleanser. I have used powders before - I think it was "Aztec Clay", which was okay, - and I also have a good reaction to Weleda products, so I am encouraged by the ingredients in yours. The smells of Pink Grapefruit, German Chamomile, Organic Rosemary & Blue Chamomile sound uplifting and energizing.

My SAD is milder in California - it was heavy when I lived back east - but I am always looking for gentle and natural facial cleansers for my reactive & sensitive skin.

  6. This is an intriguing product description! I'm esp interested in the calendula powder. I steep calendula flowers with hibiscus for tea, as it's known for anti inflammatory properties. Thanks so much for hosting this giveaway.
